So we’ve made the big move to Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. Living here has been really awesome for the outdoor recreational opportunities – our proximity to lakes for ice fishing, groomed trails for cross country skiing, and hills and mountains for snowshoeing with the dogs has been wonderful. Our current housing situation in a village home very close to the road has been an adjustment. We could reach out several of our windows and have our fingers graze the pavement. On our very first night I was even able to convince the driver of an 18 wheeler to give us a polite honk of his horn while I was standing in the living room. Still, we’ve made it out for some fun times in this year’s very cold Vermont winter.
